Cookie policy

This is a courtesy translation. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits.

Technical cookies (always on)

These are our own and are essential for the website to work: keeping you signed in and remembering the color theme and language you choose. We also store in your browser (local storage, for 12 months) whether you accepted or rejected measurement cookies, so we do not ask you again on every visit. Because they are strictly necessary, they do not require your consent (art. 22.2 LSSI-CE).

Advertising measurement cookies (only if you accept them)

We advertise the clinic on Google with Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited). To know which ads work, we count how many people who arrive from an ad message us on WhatsApp or call us from the website. These cookies are only stored if you accept them in the cookie notice: _gcl_au (first-party, 90 days: links your visit to an ad click), _gcl_aw (first-party, 90 days: stores the identifier of that click) and, where applicable, cookies on Google domains such as google.com or doubleclick.net, which Google manages under its own privacy policy. Legal basis: your consent (art. 22.2 LSSI-CE and art. 6.1.a GDPR).

If you reject them, no advertising cookie is stored. Google only receives cookieless signals with no identifiers (for example, that a page loaded or that someone tapped WhatsApp, together with technical data such as the time and browser type), which it uses in aggregate to estimate results (Google consent mode, advanced).

What we do NOT do: we do not use personalized advertising, remarketing or audience lists; we never send Google your email, your phone number or any health data; and no measurement tag is loaded in the private area (your family account and appointment links). Google may process data in the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Embedded third-party content

The map on the "The clinic" page is our own image, drawn from OpenStreetMap data and served from our domain: it does not load any content from Google or anyone else and sets no cookies. If you tap it, or tap "Directions" or "See ADÚO on Google", Google Maps opens in another tab; from then on Google's privacy policy and cookies apply.

How to change your mind

You can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer: if you withdraw consent, we delete this site's Google Ads cookies. You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings; please note that blocking technical cookies may prevent you from staying signed in.

Changes to this policy

If we add other cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will update this policy and ask for your consent again.
