Your ADÚO account on your phone, just like an app
An icon on your home screen that opens your account directly: appointments, your children's records, the guides and doses. There's nothing to download from the App Store or Google Play: you add it from your browser in a minute.
How to do it, step by step
Open ADÚO in Safari
Go to aduopediatria.com in Safari, the iPhone's browser. It doesn't matter which page you're on: what gets saved is your account. If you came from Instagram or another app, open it in Safari first.
Tap ··· and then "Share"
The three dots are at the bottom right, next to the address. If your iPhone shows the Share button directly (a square with an arrow pointing up), tap that.
Choose "Add to Home Screen"
Scroll down the list a little to find it. If it isn't there, tap More or Edit Actions at the end.
Tap "Add"
Leave Open as Web App switched on (it already is) and tap Add, at the top right.
Done!
The ADÚO icon now sits among your apps and opens your account directly. Always go in from there: it runs full screen, without the browser bars.
Using Chrome on your iPhone? That works too: tap the Share button in the address bar and choose Add to Home Screen.
Open ADÚO in Chrome
Go to aduopediatria.com in Chrome, the browser that comes with almost every Android phone. It doesn't matter which page you're on: what gets saved is your account.
Tap ⋮ at the top right
They're the three dots of the Chrome menu.
Choose "Add to Home screen" and then "Install"
On some phones the option is simply called Install app.
Done!
The ADÚO icon now sits among your apps and opens your account directly. Always go in from there: it runs full screen, without the browser bars.
Using Samsung Internet? Tap the three lines at the bottom, then Add page to and Home screen.
Once it is installed
- Sign in to your account onceThe app asks you to sign in the first time and then stays signed in. On iPhone, sign in with Google or with email and password: the magic link in your email opens in Safari, not in the app.
- Turn on notificationsIn Settings you can turn on appointment and vaccine reminders. On iPhone they only work with the app installed.
- Nothing to updateIt's the same ADÚO website: you always have the latest version, with no downloads.
Common questions
Is ADÚO on the App Store or Google Play?
No, and it doesn't need to be. What you save to your home screen is your ADÚO account, as a web app: you add it from the browser, it's free and takes up hardly any space on your phone.
I can't see "Add to Home Screen" on my iPhone
It's almost always because the page is open inside another app (Instagram, Facebook, your email…). Open it in Safari and repeat the steps. If you're already in Safari, scroll to the end of the Share menu and tap "More" or "Edit Actions" to see it.
Do I have to sign in again?
Yes, just once. The installed app keeps its own session, separate from the browser; after that it stays signed in.
Does it work on iPad and tablets?
Yes. The steps are the same as on a phone.
How do I remove it if I no longer want it?
Like any other app: press and hold the icon and choose to remove it. Your account and your children's data aren't deleted: they stay in ADÚO.
